It all began with a lump of clay....

Jennifer, an art director, graphic artist and cake designer, took her first ceramics class in 2013 in Walnut Creek, California. She knew at the moment she created her first finished ceramic cup that she had found a true passion. She decided to dive deep into learning about this challenging & complex ancient artform.  After 4 years of intense continuous practice & study (with many more years of learning to come), a look and feel and deeper knowledge of the complicated craft of ceramics arts, Bani Studio was conceived. Bani Studio, based in Berkeley, California, creates one-of-a-kind, functional and decorative objects by hand for the home. All work is purposely designed with a rustic & organic aesthetic in mind. Currently, Bani Studio ships domestically in the U.S.A.
